The first condominium association was established in 1976. It was followed by a condominium association founded in 1985. The two associations merged with the arrival of the new Civil Code in 1994 to form the Association des syndicats de copropri\u00e9t\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec (ASCQ). <\/p>

Indeed, the condominium sector is divided into different ideologies in terms of vision and governance, leading to a variety of different associations. Through these associations, links have been created, but also certain disparities linked to these different ideologies and their own particularities. <\/p>
